The Diploma of Interactive Digital Media provides trainees with the skills necessary to work in many areas of digital design and multimedia production. These include digital skills in graphic arts, web page development, 2D graphics, 3D environments and animation, screen design, multimedia authoring, scripting languages, project management, digital effects and games design.

On successful completion of this course, students are eligible to receive Diploma of Interactive Digital Media.
Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation may be recognised by Cambridge International College.

Assessment may be a combination of written and online assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects.
Graduates of the Diploma of Interactive Digital Media will have gained the skills and knowledge to work as a member of multimedia development team.
Graduates of the Diploma of Interactive Digital Media will gain 8 credit points advanced standing into the Bachelor of Multimedia (CRICOS 030617G) at Central Queensland University (Melbourne Campus).
The Diploma of Interactive Digital Media is delivered over four, 9 week terms, with a 1 week break. Intakes in April, July, September and November include a compulsory summer term.
The study mode is full time and consists of 20 hours per week in Adelaide and 16 contact hours and 4 hours off campus learning activities in Melbourne and Perth. Trainees have the option to study in a daytime or evening schedule subject to availability.
