Weekly Activities AT THE MELBOURNE CAMPUS
Monday and Wednesday – Conversation Club, this is where Australian university students come to meet and talk with our students. This is an excellent way to meet Australian people. Many students use the club to make new Australian friends and the Conversation Club organises many regular activities including visits to cinemas, nightclubs, sporting events and BBQs.
Tuesday and Thursday – Job Club is here to help students prepare resumes, how to act in an interview, where to look for a job, etc. Occasionally, you can also learn some essential skills for particular jobs from the Job Club. For instance, we have a regular Job Club Hospitality Edition where you can learn some restaurant and bar skills.
Thursday – the Movie Club where we show a recently released DVD, with English subtitles, is a great way to improve listening and reading skills.
Friday – Sport, you can join our CIC Soccer Team, Tennis Group, or Bowling Squad!
For students who want even more English improvement, they can join our English Extras! We offer a number of FREE English Extra classes, such as Pronunciation Workshop, Grammar, Vocabulary, for students every afternoon. They can choose to attend any of these classes according to their English levels.
