The Bachelor of Business (Marketing) aims to produce graduates who have a thorough knowledge of business and marketing principles and practices.
In the first year, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of current business trends and practices. In the second and third year, students will develop their knowledge base to include vital marketing practices applicable to Australian and international contexts.
Students will study marketing theories and models, learn how to analyse marketing opportunities, and how to develop a strategic marketing plan that will lead to meeting the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Upon graduation, Diploma of Business (Marketing) graduates will have gained the skills and knowledge to identify marketing opportunities, generate new ideas, undertake market research and analysis, and confidently apply their knowledge and skills in marketing positions within domestic or internationally focused businesses.
On successful completion of the course, students are awarded the Bachelor of Business (Marketing).
Students may be able to shorten the length of the course through qualifications obtained from formal studies, work or life experience. AQF Qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other education providers are recognised by Cambridge International College. Students who wish to apply for Advanced Standing should contact the College for information on eligibility.
Assessment includes a final examination for each unit of study and a combination of tests, essays, case studies, reports, presentations and tutorial participation, as per the assessment equirements of the unit of study undertaken. Tutorial participation is an important component of the course and full participation is expected.
Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Business (Marketing) students will have gained the skills and knowledge to work in a marketing and/or business orientated role within internationally or domestically focused organisations.
Students who successfully complete the Bachelor of Business at Cambridge International College can apply to study a number of postgraduate qualifications in Australia and abroad.
The Bachelor of Business (Marketing) is delivered over six 12-week Semesters. The study mode is full-time and consists of 16 contact hours per week. Students are also expected to study for an additional 6 hours per unit each week. These self-study hours include reading, assignment preparation and completion, test, exam and tutorial preparation.
