The Certificate IV in Marketing will provide students with marketing skills and knowledge and develop their ability to apply these skills and their knowledge across a variety of marketing contexts. (BSB51207) Diploma of Marketing
The Diploma of Marketing will provide instruction to students in how to interpret market trends, manage marketing budgets, plan market research and identify and evaluate marketing opportunities. In addition to enhancing their marketing knowledge base, students will be provided with the tools to develop and apply managerial skills.
On successful completion of this course, students are eligible to receive the Certificate IV in Marketing (BSB51307) and/or the Diploma of Marketing (BSB51207) depending on the chosen course of study.
Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF Qualifications or Accredited Courses and Statements of Attainment issued by other registered education providers are recognised by Cambridge International College.

Students are advised of the assessment requirements at the beginning of each unit.
The assessment process will include a variety of tasks to demonstrate competence in the required skills and knowledge. Projects and practical assessments will be the major form of assessment and there is a combination of individual and group assessment tasks which aim to replicate as much as possible the reality of performing in a workplace.
Assessment continues throughout the program until the student either achieves competency in the assessment tasks or further training needs are identified and addressed. Students will be counselled as to their progress throughout the delivery of the unit and at the end of each 9-week delivery period.
Graduates of the Certificate IV in Marketing will have gained the skills and knowledge to work in a range of entry level marketing roles. Those who go on to complete the Diploma of Marketing will obtain more indepth marketing skills to work at a more senior level in a marketing team in a variety of industries.
Graduates of the Diploma of Marketing will be eligible to apply for credits towards the Bachelor of Business programs at Cambridge International College (Melbourne Campus).
Students who have completed the Diploma of Marketing at Cambridge International College, will be granted entry and could be eligible for advanced standing of up to 4 units (60 credit points) towards the Bachelor of Business or the Bachelor of Hospitality Management at Edith Cowan University.
The courses are offered on a full-time basis (20 hours per week). Delivery of the course consists of
- 16 hours per week of scheduled classes and
- 4 hours per week of off-campus and/or on-line learning activities.
Off-campus and on-line learning activities are supported by a minimum of 4 hours of timetabled trainer support per week.
Students are encouraged to fully participate in the timetabled off-campus trainer support sessions and utilise this support mechanism to clarify assessment requirements or outcomes, review or clarify class materials or presentations, confirm understanding of course requirements or seek assistance with assignment preparation.
The off-campus component of the qualification delivery will provide students with the necessary independent research skills to prepare them for undergraduate study if they choose to pursue further studies at an undergraduate level.
