The Business Purposes English program at Cambridge International College is ideal for students wishing to gain knowledge, vocabulary and skills specific to a business environment. Throughout the program students will develop the necessary skills to conduct business style meetings, write formal business reports and give presentations, while achieving a more sophisticated business vocabulary.
Classes focus on advanced level tasks including report writing, telephoning, reading business texts, giving oral presentations and participating in meetings. There is an ongoing focus on vocabulary for business contexts which will assist students going on to business studies courses at Cambridge International College. Students also learn advanced grammar
Students are assessed throughout the course using checklists and progress reports intended to monitor each student's progress.
All students must undertake a CIC test prior to admission. Admission into the the Business English program is conditional on the student obtaining a sufficient level of English during this assessment. Please contact the College or a College representative in your country.
Opportunity for Further Study
Students who successfully complete one module of the Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English (FS) are eligible to enter directly into a variety of courses at Cambridge International College as well as its partner providers.
