Our General English course teach students English to use in a wide range of social situations and day to day life. The course takes a communicative approach to language learning and focuses on the core language skills throughout each module including, speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
The General English course is accredited by NEAS (National ELT Accreditation Scheme Ltd).
General English is offered at the following levels -
Elementary
Pre-Intermediate
Intermediate
Upper Intermediate
Advanced
Courses are offered from Elementary to Advanced levels and all students are given course materials at the beginning of their first module. The skills learned throughout the General English program lay the foundations for further progression to more specialised English Language courses or .
Classes in General English are suitable for students who:
General English students are tested for proficiency in the broad skill areas of Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing and Grammar during Orientation and are placed in the appropriate level. A test may be taken prior to arrival however students are re-tested upon arrival to confirm their English language level.
