All students are required to attend Orientation. During Orientation students have the opportunity to ask questions about their course and about living in australia

Orientation is conducted on the first day (English language students) in the first week (Vocational course students) of your course. During Orientation you will be introduced to the College, to support staff, course requirements and to living in Australia

The following is included in the Orientation Program:

• Welcome by the Campus Manager
• Introduction to the Course Leader
• Copy of the Student Handbook
• Advice on how to make the most of your studies to assist you to successfully complete your studies
• Information on assessment tasks, e.g. tests, essays, practical assessment tasks
• What is expected of you from your teachers and other staff
• Timetable allocation and class timetables
• Student services and support services including the counselling services, job club, accommodation and activities.
• Essential student visa requirements including attendance, course progress, applications for deferral and suspension of studies, complaints and appeals and student contact details
• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) information and presentation
• Information about course fees, including fees due date and how to pay
• Issuing of your student card
