It is a condition of your student visa (condition 8501) that you have private health insurance - Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) - for the length of your stay in Australia. The College arranges your OSHC through Worldcare. The Worldcare Overseas Student Health Cover web address is https://www.oshcworldcare.com.au. During orientation your OSHC will be explained to you.

Please note that from the 1 July 2010 students must obtain OSHC for the proposed duration of their student visa prior to the student visa being granted. If for instance, you apply for a student visa for a period of 3 years, then you are required to provide evidence of OSHC for the full 3 years period prior to visa is grant.
