Once a week, the CIC Activities Officer holds an informal conversation club with our students. This is a great opportunity to socialise with the teacher and other students while practicing your English in a fun and relaxed environment.
The Movie Club is a great way for students to get together and practice their listening skills while watching the latest blockbusters. Students watch all the movies with subtitles, which also enhances their reading skills.
Every Monday, CIC has an orientation tour for new students around Perth’s central city. The group visits important places such as Perth Station, the GPO, Tourist Bureau and the State Library/Gallery/Museum, as well as checking out the shopping malls and arcades. It’s a great introduction to the city’s convenient facilities!
Cambridge International Collegehas a great reputation for organising fun and exciting excursions. We provide the opportunity for all CIC students to see some of Perth’s best tourist attractions. We regularly organise trips to see the Kangaroos and Koalas at the Zoo or Wildlife Park, or to Fremantle Prison, the Bell Tower, the Walk-Through Aquarium, or we go on a Swan River Cruise. We also have regular Sports Excursions such as Beach Volleyball, Ten-Pin Bowling, Laser Tag Games and Ice-Skating!
Don’t miss CIC’s famous School Events such as Barbecues by the River, Quiz Games at Christmas time and Easter, and our very popular International Food Festivals. The students love these highly enjoyable parties!
For students who want to improve their English even more, they can join our English Extras! We offer a number of FREE English Extra classes, such as Vocabulary on Mondays, and Pronunciation on Thursdays.
